Integrating ArcGIS Geoprocessing & Mapping Capabilities into Office 365

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This presentation will show Microsoft Office 365 and Esri ArcGIS Online can be integrated to enhance the capabilities of Excel, by way of a basic species distribution example. A  user is able to select a set of species location records in an Excel worksheet, determine the spatial pattern of the data and see the resulting description in map and textual form. A primary goal of the exercise is to demonstrate how cloud-based services can be integrated to deliver spatial processing capabilities in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Moderator: Christina Boggs, Department of Water Resources, West Sacramento, CA
