As Geographic Information Officer for the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, I am responsible for facilitating interagency coordination for acquisition, management and distribution of the state's framework datasets. My current projects involve maintaining and expanding infrastructure for data sharing through development of a state geoportal, engaging State legislators by educating and advocating for GIS, and continued imagery and elevation data acquisition.
