Randal Krejcarek, PE, GISP

Randal Krejcarek has over 25 years of experience in the local government engineering/transportation field. In his current position, Mr. Krejcarek is responsible for running a department of 152 full time employees as implementing the City's annual capital improvement program. He oversees the design, construction, and maintenance activities related to the City's infrastructure. Mr. Krejcarek also chairs the citywide GIS committee. Prior to joining the City of Delray Beach, Mr. Krejcarek was Operational Planning Director with Gwinnett County Department of Transportation (GCDOT), in Atlanta, GA. As Division Director, Mr. Krejcarek was responsible for the integration of all GCDOT databases, which included storm water inventory, service requests, pavement management, accident records, traffic signals, traffic signs, and survey monuments. Mr. Krejcarek was instrumental in the development and implementation of a county-wide GIS and he coordinated the development of several GIS-T applications within GCDOT including the tracking of service requests, accident records, survey monuments, and road classifications. Mr. Krejcarek has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Public Administration from Georgia State University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida, Georgia, and Wisconsin. Mr. Krejcarek is a member of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA), the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers. He has presented numerous GIS-T workshops at URISA.
